Ukraine and the Peace Corps In-Person
Join Freeport residents Maura and Matt Pillsbury to discuss their time as Peace Corps volunteers in Ukraine. They will discuss Ukrainian culture and what it is like to be a Peace Corps volunteer; touch upon the history of the Ukraine-Russia conflict that has led to the war in Ukraine today; as well as what actions you can take to support Ukraine. Maura and Matt serve the Freeport community as an RSU5 Board Member and Town Councilor respectively. This in-person event will be held in Freeport Community Library's Meeting Room.
