Downtown Freeport StoryWalk: "This is MY Room (No Tigers Allowed)"
Read a story while enjoying downtown businesses! Start at Ben & Jerry’s on 6 Nathan Nye Street and read all the way to British Goods to enter to win a signed copy of This is MY Room (No Tigers Allowed). This charming story, by Maine author Jennifer Richard Jacobson and illustrated by Alexandria Neonakis, is about a girl’s first night in her very own room and what happens when animals intrude!
The StoryWalk runs from August 25 to September 7. Each of the 24 downtown Freeport businesses that are participating will have a page displayed in their window, then they’ll tell where to go next to continue reading.
The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
