Downtown Freeport StoryWalk: "Spike"

Downtown Freeport StoryWalk: "Spike"

Read a story while enjoying downtown businesses! Start at Ben & Jerry’s on 6 Nathan Nye Street and read all the way to British Goods to enter to win a signed copy of Spike. This colorful story, by Susan Hood and illustrated by Maine artist Melissa Sweet is about an axolotl—a mixed-up monster!

The StoryWalk runs from August 11 to August 24. Each of the 24 downtown Freeport businesses that are participating will have a page displayed in their window, then they’ll tell where to go next to continue reading.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.

This event is free and open to the public. For questions or directions to the Library, visit www.freeportlibrary.com or call 865-3307.
