Welcoming Winter Pomander Craft

Adults, rejoice! Let us put the holiday stress behind us and start the year on a good note by making our own pomander, an ornamental and sweet-smelling orange studded with cloves. Use a classic, well-tried design by looking online or get creative and make your own. Your pomander kit will include 1 orange, 1 wooden skewer to pre-poke holes, cloves, and a strip of ribbon. When you’re done, hang your pomander or place it in a bowl and enjoy the fortifying aroma. You can extend the life of your pomander by placing it in the fridge at night. This event is free and open to the public, but limited to adult participants. Approximately 30 kits will be available while supplies last. For questions about availability or pickup, call 865-3307.
