2024 Kids' Summer Reading and Math Program Starts

2024 Kids' Summer Reading and Math Program Starts In-Person

Get ready to have fun and enter to win prizes with the Freeport Community Library’s free Kids’ Summer Reading & Math Program (SRMP). Kids can start tracking their books and math problems on June 1 and can start earning and submitting raffle tickets June 3 at 10:00 a.m. through July 31 at 7:00 p.m. Prize winners will be notified on August 1 and 2, no later than 5 p.m. on Friday.

There are several ways to participate; as an Independent Reader, Teen Reader and by doing Bedtime Math. Participants track their reading and math, then fill out online raffle tickets to enter to win a variety of prizes, many donated from local Freeport businesses.

The SRMP is open to kids in grade 12 and under who are Freeport residents, students of Freeport schools, or Freeport Community Library (FCL) card holders. To read more about Kids’ SRMP, visit the SRMP webpage.
